Creative Play Days: Make Art With Us
FREE Creative Play Days on December 6th, 13th, and 20th from 2:00 PM–4:00 PM. These free, open sessions invite participants to bring their own materials and choose from a series of still-life scenes featuring Café NUNU foods, ingredients, utensils, and objects reflecting its global–local fusion. From jars of spice blends to fresh produce, from traditional staples to international touches, the subjects reveal how culture evolves through shared kitchens, travel, trade, memory, and imagination.
These sessions are relaxed and collaborative—an extension of the café’s mission to use food and creativity as tools for community-building.
We requests that artists sign a simple waiver allowing Café NUNU and NUNU Arts & Culture Collective to use images of their artwork for promotional purposes.
Artwork created during or after these sessions may be submitted for consideration in an upcoming exhibition for Mise en Place: A Still-Life Exhibition of Culinary Inspiration in the Living Room Gallery for the January–February show with a preview night: January 9 | 6–9 PM and an Artists' Reception and grand opening of Café NUNU February 13 | 6–9 P
