- **Event Description**: The Barony of Nordwache invites the populace of Caid to join us for the celebration of our 43rd Baronial Anniversary Protectorate Tournament. This event is full of great things in a wonderful, shaded park. Activities include camping, Baronial Champion tournaments for armored combat, target archery (including crossbow!), thrown weapons, and an A&S competition. There will also be a Lunch fundraiser, Silent auction, and Potluck feast.

EVENT REGISTRATION:
Camping: Adult Event Registration: $40, Adult Member Discount Event Registration: $30.
Children 17 and under are guests of the barony.
Day Trip: Adult Event Registration $25, Adult Member Discount Event Registration $15.
Children 17 and under are guests of the barony.
Cash or Checks accepted at gate. Make checks payable to: “SCA, Inc./Barony of Nordwache”.
Parking is included in the registration.

SITE INFORMATION: This is a public park. Dogs are NOT allowed in the park. If you are bringing a service dog, please remember that all ADA and city laws must be followed pertaining to service dogs. Fires must be at least 12" off the ground and water and/or a fire extinguisher to be kept nearby. Please keep tent stakes shorter than 9 inches.

SCHEDULE:
Friday
1:00pm: Site and gate opens.
Archery Practice in the Evening.

Saturday
8:00am: List opens.
10:00am-ish: Opening court.
Presentation of the consorts.
30 minutes after court: The day’s activities begin.
Noon to 2:00pm: Lunch fundraiser. Details will follow in the “Discussion” area of the event announcement
4:00pm: A&S competitions and silent auction closes.
5:00pm: Closing court.
6:30pm: Potluck Feast. Bring your own meat to cook, your own drink, and a side dish to share.

Sunday
9:00am: Archery continues
4:00pm: Site closes. Everyone must be off site by this time.

ARMORED TOURNAMENT: The Champion of Nordwache for armored fighters will be determined with a tournament, the format of which to be announced that day.

THROWN WEAPONS: More information to follow

ARCHERY: Bring your hand bows and your crossbows to compete for the championship. Everyone come out and have some fun!

ARTS AND SCIENCES:
Join us for our final installment of the year-long Arts and Sciences Championship. The themes for this contest are as follows:
Adult - Made With Flame
Youth (13 and younger) - Something Related to Flame
Cooking - Cheese
Brewing - Mint
Bardic - A Lesson Learned

Silent Auction: This is a “White Elephant Sale” of SCA/SCA-ish items to benefit our Barony and help us keep our Academia event free to all.

Potluck Feast: Bring your own meat to cook, your own drink, and a side dish to share.

After Feast Home Brew Tasting: Please come and join us around the campfire and try sampling home-made brews and libations, talk shop, and share ideas. If you have a bottle of your own you wish to share, we'd love to try some as well. All for the love of the art. (You must be 21 to sample spirits.)

DIRECTIONS: From the south: Take your favorite freeway(s) to Hwy 41 N, turn right onto Fremont Ave. Continue onto Flint Avenue and your destination will be on the left.

From the north: Hie thee to State Highway 41 South, watch for the Hickey Park sign and turn left onto Fremont Ave. Continue onto Flint Avenue and your destination will be on the left.
