Highlands End-of-Life Project and Sustainable Deathcare New England are hosting our second Dying to Know Day!
Dying to Know Day is a national event that aims to change the conversation around death and dying in Australia.
Join us for this special event in Uralla. Speakers will cover a range of topics, including:
* Aboriginal and Fijian cultural perspectives and traditions
* Insights from a local palliative care nurse
* Inspiration on how we might approach death, dying and grief differently
* Updates on local initiatives and upcoming workshops
It will be an opportunity to reflect, connect, and explore a topic not often discussed, but one that affects us all.
Stay for light refreshments afterwards and continue the conversation in good company. On display will be a beautiful handwoven coffin, recently created during a community workshop. The fire will be going to keep us warm and everyone is welcome.
Bookings not required - just come along!
