The Roleystone Family Centre is pleased to host a weekly Mahjong Club, playing Hong Kong–style Mahjong in a friendly, supportive, and relaxed setting.
This group is particularly welcoming for beginners. Sessions will begin by showing the steps to play, explaining the tiles, rules, and basic gameplay in a clear and supportive way. New players can learn at a comfortable pace, ask questions, and build confidence as they go. No prior experience is required.
Mahjong is a traditional tile‑based game enjoyed around the world for its blend of strategy, skill, and social connection. Played in small groups, it naturally encourages conversation, shared learning, and friendly interaction, making it an excellent way to meet others and feel part of the community.
