LOOKING TO GET YOUR MICHIGAN CPL???
Here are the details about the MI CPL class. I can call you if you need more information/explanation.
Michigan CPL class costs $150 per person, includes both class and range time. I usually hold the class on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Next class will be held on 21 MARCH 2026 from 7am-5pm.
My classes are capped at 10 students for each session, to better focus on individuals’ needs. The classes and range time are all performed at Silver Woods Farm, located at:

Range time is planned for outside and on a farm, so I strongly recommend clothing and footwear for Michigan weather. Although I do have an indoor range that we may use, but it slows down the range portion considerably, as only one person can shoot at a time. If we do the range time indoors, I have had students return on a later date for the shooting portion, if it gets too late. I can also provide use of a firearm if you need one.
VERY focused on smaller class size, more individual instruction, adjusting class curriculum/pace to better meet our student's needs. Our students are mostly individuals who are new to or not very familiar with the firearms world. I try to provide a less “Tactical” (which can often be intimidating) approach and try to make the subject more relatable/practical for the “average” person. With our goal of training individuals to be aware/identifying/avoiding problems/conflict, incorporating the safe use, but also assist in becoming more familiar/comfortable with basic firearm operations.
I try to keep the classes low key, with much student participation. I want an environment that fosters the understanding of the material but also gives the students confidence to ASK any questions they may have.
I usually don’t “break” for lunch, to keep the class moving and get everyone home, as I understand it can be a long day. So, snacks/lunch can be brought and consumed throughout class time. We do provide water, coffee, and tea for the students.

4 UNIVERSAL FIREARMS SAFETY RULES
