Il commence la musique très jeune et se fait connaître à la fin des années 1990 comme membre fondateur du groupe Sniper, aux côtés de Tunisiano et Aketo. Au sein du groupe, il se distingue par un style mêlant rap et chant, fortement influencé par le reggae et le ragga. Avec Sniper, Blacko participe à plusieurs albums majeurs du rap français, dont Du rire aux larmes (2001) et Gravé dans la roche (2003). En 2007, il quitte le groupe pour poursuivre une carrière solo, motivé par une volonté d’indépendance artistique. Il sort son premier album solo, Enfant du Soleil, en 2010, suivi de plusieurs projets explorant un univers plus personnel, mêlant rap, reggae et introspection, notamment Dualité (2015).
