- **Event Description**: With each passing year, it seems that daily life for everyone, from parents to young working adults, to students, grows more and more frenetic. Levels of stress and anxiety are at an all-time high in our culture, and there is an increasingly strong shared desire, even need, for opportunities to slow down and catch our breath. In partnership with Lifescape Visionary, we are so proud to have created a uniquely special, non-religiously affiliated event for this very reason called 'Whispers of the Solstice.' A departure from your traditional holiday concert, we will welcome our guests from all traditions and backgrounds to experience that rare moment for rest and reflection during the busy holiday season.

'Whispers of the Solstice' will take place THIS Saturday, December 20 at 7:30 PM Eastern at Saint George’s Episcopal Church, 915 N Oakland St, Arlington, VA 22203. Tickets are $45 for adults and $15 for students to attend in person, or you can watch via livestream for $15. 9th Street Quartet will perform works that invite listeners into the stillness of winter, interspersed with readings of contemplative poetry and prose, all supplemented by a digital booklet filled with fine art and photography. Complimentary mulled wine and hot nonalcoholic cider will be served as well. Please note again that this is not a religiously-affiliated event, and our intention is for all to feel welcome. We hope we are cultivating the type of environment that is so needed in these times.

It is a performance like no other you'll find in the greater DMV area this time of year. Guests of all ages and backgrounds, from a seasoned classical music concert-goer to a young professional simply looking for a place to unwind, will no doubt leave feeling moved by the experience.
