Kahal B’raira’s non-theistic liturgy is rooted in Jewish tradition, and draws on our Humanistic beliefs that each of us has a responsibility to ourselves and our community to build a better world. Together we will reflect on the past year, draw inspiration from each other, and celebrate the year to come!

The service will include songs, responsive readings, a member reflection on the themes of the holiday, and the shofar. Kahal B’raira’s liturgy is mostly in English, with some songs and blessings in Hebrew. All Hebrew is transliterated, and customs are explained.

All ages are welcome, though the Rosh Hashanah evening service is geared toward older kids and adults.

Services take place at First Parish UU, Arlington, and on Zoom. ASL interpretation is available on Zoom.
