- **Event Description**: August is past and September is flying by! Let's do another sing. 

Come sing together in the Arlington Community Orchard, a beautiful outdoor space. Anyone may lead a song, but no-one is required to lead. Anything with a chorus people can chime in on is welcome (drinking songs, sea chanteys, union songs, etc are always a hit). We will sing these songs unaccompanied—no instruments required!

The picnic tables have plenty of bench seating, and there is also space to set up lawn chairs or sit on the grass. 

TIME: 6 to 8 PM.

TRANSIT: The Community Orchard is just off Massachusetts Avenue, convenient to the 77 bus. It is easily reached via the Minuteman Bike Path. Parking on this part of Mass Ave is not metered. While the orchard itself is right behind a parking lot, those spaces are reserved by the U-Haul. Please leave them free so we can continue to use the space!

COVID PRECAUTIONS: Because singing is relatively high-risk, we ask that people attend only if symptom-free and up to date on their vaccines.

A NOTE ABOUT SONG CHOICE: We love singing songs from history, and sometimes these songs have words that hurt or exclude others. Take a moment to think about your song. If something in it perpetuates sexism, racism, etc, please change the words, skip the verse, or choose another song. Help us make a space that’s welcoming for everybody to come sing!
