- **Event Description**: It's Back! If you missed our first NFR watch party, you won't want to miss this one! There's not a better way to celebrate than giving back to the community and this year is extra special because we are giving back to sweet little Lincoln Goss and his family (if you haven't met Lincoln or heard about his story yet we will have more info on that coming soon). 
If you have an auction item you would like to donate to the silent auction, please let us know.
We'll see you December 13 at the Oso School house. Bring your checkbooks and best rodeo attire!

Lincoln’s story
Lincoln was born October 15, 2021. We were so excited to welcome our healthy baby boy and complete our family. Just 4 short weeks later Lincoln was diagnosed with a rare congenital liver disease, Biliary Atresia. He immediately had to undergo major surgery to help save his liver. Sadly, there were complications requiring additional surgeries and procedures. 
It took a few months but, Lincoln began to stabilize and started to enjoy a somewhat normal life. Then, in May of 2022, he was diagnosed with an even more rare type of vascular tumor. We began treatment of high dose steroids and immunosuppressants. He seemed to be responding well. He continued to grow and meet milestones. In January of 2024 they decided that Lincoln could wean off the medications. It seemed the tumor was gone - or so we thought. 
Between February and May  Lincoln’s bloodwork continued to alarm everyone. They didn’t think it was the tumor because it seemed that was gone but, he numbers continued to decline. They ran every test in the book, bone marrow biopsies, ultrasounds, x-rays, ct scans and more to try and find the cause. 
In July of 2024, he stopped walking. Completely lost the ability. They ordered an MRI and that revealed that not only was the tumor back, it was larger and more complex than before. He has since been going in for weekly chemo infusions.
Lincoln is a real ray of sunshine. No matter what life throws at him, he shows up with a smile. Reminding us all, that there is good in everyday.
