Join us for an LPC Supervisor training with real life examples, years of experience and a broad multicultural lens. This training is approved for the required 40-hours of LPC supervisor training.

LPC Board of Texas Guidelines for LPC Supervisors:

Applicants for LPC supervisor status must have held the regular license in good standing for at least 60 months from the date of issuance. And, application for supervision status must be submitted within 2 years of completing the 40-hour supervision training. (Texas Administrative Code RULE §681.93). If you have not had your LPC license for at least 60 months (5 years) by the date of this training it may be a good idea to wait for a later training.  Registration is non refundable.

Course Outline

Our course is designed to meet the 40-hour requirement for counselors seeking qualification in Texas as supervisor for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC). Participants will receive 40 continuing education contact hours with 12 of these hours in Ethics. Training consists of two mandatory sections.

LPC Supervisor Training Dates and Details

Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 8:30am to 5:30pm and Friday, February 1, 2019 from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Training takes place at the offices of Door of Hope Counseling, 1201 N Watson Road, Arlington, TX 76006.  The contact number is 817-360-2450.

Section 1: Home Study Portion

The prework will be available via online access at the time payment is received. 

Section 2: Face to Face Portion

$650 Training Fee Includes:

40 CE Hours including 12 Hours of Ethics in the Online and Face to Face Training

To develop effective supervisory relationships.

To develop effective supervisory skills and techniques.

To understand multicultural aspects in supervision.
