Class Description:

The objective of this course is to provide a complete understanding of the homestead exemption. The class will cover: how the homestead exemption impacts the value of property for the calculation of property taxes; how and when to apply for the homestead exemption; the impacts of the over-65/disabled persons exemption on property taxes; how to transfer the over-65/disabled persons exemption when moving homesteads; how the homestead exemption is used when located with agricultural property as well as the most recent changes to the homestead exemption. This class has a lot of golden nuggets you can take out immediately to clients.
