Ethel Ransom Club 2nd Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
The Ethel Ransom Humanitarian and Cultural Club of Fort Worth will host its 2nd Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament fundraiser. Established in 1933, the organization’s mission is to promote education, literacy and interracial understanding while raising the standard of the home by advancing the social, economic, moral, civic and religious welfare of the family.
For several years now, the organization has promoted education by providing scholarships to deserving students in the underserved communities of Fort Worth. The goal this year is to make a greater impact in the community with the success of the tournament. However, we realize you and/or your company is the key to our success.
This year, we are privileged to have two Fort Worth icons serving as co-honorary chairs for the tournament. Judge Clifford L. Davis and Attorney Bobbie Edmonds are both committed to helping take the tournament to another level. Please clear your calendars and plan to join us on June 3rd as we take a swing for education.
The format for the tournament is a 4-person scramble (best ball). Awards will be presented during the luncheon for first through third place finishes, as well as for longest drive and closest to the pin competitions for men and women. Further, awards will also be presented to first place ladies and co-ed teams.
Please support this worthwhile organization that has been doing some amazing work in the community where we live and work.
