Gerardo Ortizone of the leading voices in Regional Mexican music, known for revolutionizing the genre with his unique blend of corridos, norteño, and banda. Born in Pasadena, California, and raised in Sinaloa, Mexico, Ortiz began recording music as a teenager and quickly rose to fame with hits like Dámaso, ¿Quién Se Anima?, and Eres Una Niña. Ortiz has received multiple Billboard Latin Music Awards and Premios Lo Nuestro accolades, and his album Hoy Más Fuerte debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart. His raw lyrical style and modern approach to traditional music have made him a pioneer and fan favorite.
