Shango weaves indigenous rhythms, world beats, and deep tribal sounds into powerful sonic journeys that awaken the body and expand consciousness. His sets are more than music—they’re ceremonial experiences, blending live drumming, chanting, mantras, crystal frequencies, and tribal body art to activate healing through movement. With an “ancient futuristic” style, Shango creates a continuous wave of release—physical, emotional, and energetic—guiding the dance floor into a shared, high-vibrational field of transformation. @dj_shango_

New to Ecstatic Dance? No problem!
The guidelines for our container are simple:
	1.	Consent comes first.
Always wait for consent before dancing with or touching anyone in any capacity.
If you don’t wish to dance with someone, place your hands in a prayer position to thank them and move along.
If someone is not respecting your consent cues, please speak to an organizer—we will intervene.
	2.	No shoes.
This helps us avoid stepping on anyone’s toes.
If you have a medical need that requires footwear, please let us know.
	3.	No chatting on the dance floor.
We keep the space non-verbal to support immersion. Joyful sounds and expressions are welcome!
	4.	No alcohol or substances.
This helps everyone stay present with themselves, each other, and the experience.
	5.	No photos or videos of the dance floor.
This creates a safe space for full self-expression without judgment or documentation.
Photos and videos of the DJ are allowed with the DJ’s consent.
	6.	All forms of movement—and rest—are encouraged.
You’re welcome to visit the chill-out room, cuddle up with a blanket and pillow, and take a sensory break.
The music will be there when you’re ready to return.
