CHUPY & THE SCIENCE TWINS
CHUPY & THE SCIENCE TWINS is one of the 2013 Hope Operas with the theme Cartoons for Adults/Drunks!
A chupacabra has appeared in Uncanny Valley! Teen detectives Brad and Jenny Science set out to prove he's a fake, like all the other monsters they've unmasked. Only ... what if he's not? And what if something else lurks in the night -- something a lot scarier than loveable little "Chupy"? Zoinks!!! Written by Maurice Martin and directed by Sun King Davis, the team that brought you R.U.X.!
CHUPY & THE SCIENCE TWINS benefits the Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation. Pitt Hopkins is a rare genetic disorder that causes developmental and intellectual disabilities. Because it is neural in nature this research it could also impact research on Autism and Alzheimers.
Each year Hope Operas unites five world premiere, serialized shows with five worthy causes. At the end of a night of episodes from all five shows the audience votes for their favorite show and moneys are distributed accordingly to the nonprofits.
CHUPY & THE SCIENCE TWINS along with the other four Hope Operas runs every Monday night in October.
Tickets are available at the door and are $15/night or $40 for all four weeks!
