Did you know that in America, over 42,000 blood products are used by patients every day? That's one blood transfusion needed every two seconds. These life-saving transfusions are crucial for treating acute care needs like trauma and childbirth-related blood loss, as well as managing diseases such as cancer, surgeries, organ transplants, and more. The need for blood is constant, not just during major disasters. When you donate blood at the Smokey Point Community Church Blood Drive this Spring, you’re helping prevent shortages in hospitals across the Pacific Northwest. Make an appointment to join us March 3, and look for the bloodmobile in the church parking lot. When you donate in March, you can Enter to Win a sun-soaked trip for two to Maui.
