Overview

Create Wellspring invites artists to submit visual artworks for the upcoming exhibition, Beyond Borders:

Contemporary Visions of Latin America. This group show will celebrate the diversity, depth, and dynamic

Expression of Latin American culture through multiple artistic lenses.

Exhibition Theme

This exhibition highlights visual interpretations of Latin American culture, history, and influence. Artists are

Encouraged to submit works that explore:

- Landscapes depicting the natural beauty and regional identity of Latin American countries.

- Portraits of iconic Latin figures, including artists, activists, and legendary athletes.

- Architectural studies showcasing culturally significant buildings and structures.

- Abstract works rooted in Latin traditions, symbolism, and contemporary narratives.

- Soccer-themed art, celebrating the legacy of the sport in Latin America, including national pride, the World Cup

Moments and iconic players. (Note: The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted in Arlington, Texas.)

Eligibility & Media

Open to artists 18 and older.

Eligible media include:

- Painting, drawing, photography

- Sculpture and pottery

- Mixed media, digital art, and video

- Performance and installation proposals (include written concept)

All work must have been created within the past two years.

Submission Guidelines

- Artists may submit up to three works for consideration.

- Submission fee: $25 (covers up to 3 artworks). Please pay at link www.createarlington.com 

- Each submission must include:

- Title, medium, materials, dimensions, and year created.(Gallery wrapped or framed)

- High-resolution images (JPEG or PNG, 300 dpi)

- Artist statement (maximum 150 words) explaining the connection to the exhibition theme

- Submission Window: June 2 - June 22, 2025

- Notification of Acceptance: June 26, 2025 by 5:00 PM

- Artwork Drop-off: June 30, 2025

- Exhibit Opening: July 3, 2025
