The Harper Jazz Ensemble is a vibrant and dynamic group dedicated to performing both traditional and modern jazz music. Under the direction of Kirby Fellis, the ensemble creates a welcoming space for musicians of all ages and backgrounds to explore and grow within the jazz tradition. Whether swinging through the classics or pushing the boundaries with contemporary works, the ensemble fosters a deep love and respect for the art form. Over the years, the Harper Jazz Ensemble has had the honor of performing alongside world-class musicians such as Clark Sommers, Derrick Gardner, Francesca Romero, Alysha Monique, Roger Ingram, and Arman Sangalang, offering students and community members alike the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by some of the finest in the field.
