Model, animate and manipulate text in 3D. The course takes you through a type based 3D composition from setup, to modeling, texture, animation and export. You will be provided with pro-tips and references that give you the confidence and resources to keep learning and develop your own projects after the course.

Arnar Ómarsson is a visual artist and 3D visualiser from Iceland working at USE studio in Aarhus. He has a bachelors degree in fine art from Camberwell College of Arts, London and a masters degree in fine art from Iceland University of the Arts. Basics in 3D modeling is taught in Blender 2.8, a 3D modeling suite, used by millions of people all over the world. The software has virtually limitless visual possibilities and is used by animation studios, game designers, architects, artists, 3d printing professionals, VFX artists and many more. Blender is free and open source.

No 3D modeling experience needed, but good general computer knowledge recommended
Light refreshments and coffee/tea are included in the price.
During the 1hr break you can eat food you brought or get takeaway. We can provide plates, cutlery and glasses.
