The performance is a tale of the clash between human nature and structure, told through movement, paper and live music.
In the piece we follow Kevin, a legal assistant, who has spent years following the same predictable routine, until Caroline and Bruno’s divorce case enters his life. His ordered world thrown into chaos, Kevin is sucked into the couple’s complex vortex of emotions where he is seduced and terrified by the wild animalistic nature of their love.

Funny, touching, and visually powerful, this Lecoq-trained theater company meets it audience with music and virtuosic movement in a fast-paced, new piece of theater. The piece explores the contrast between raw human emotions and the bureaucratic processes that attempt to suppress them.

Through the company’s exploration of object theater and manipulation of paper, files and contracts take on a life of their own and what is mundane becomes monstrous.

Careful Do Not Bend is created and produced by Faulty Wire.
The minimal spoken language is in French, but the show can be understood across nationalities.
