Melodi Ghazal:
Melodi Ghazal is a singer, songwriter and producer with Iranian background from Copenhagen. She creates left-field pop with elements of r’n’b and folk music, characterised by its distinctive tonal language and strong melodic sensibility. In her productions, she combines electronic and acoustic layers, intertwining strings, Daf drum rhythms and guitar textures. Melodi works to create a special balance between melancholy and hope, weaving together her distinctive vocals and lyrics, which move effortlessly between English and Persian.

The melodic debut album Idol Melodies will be released on 6 March 2026 via Anyines, with the first taste, 'Destinies and Melodies', released at the end of 2025. With references to spiritual symbolism and a longing to dissolve oneself, the music is melancholic with downtempo grooves, Middle Eastern percussion, cinematic strings and ear-catching melodies. The album is inspired by Sufi teachings, Britney Spears' dance videos, the poet Hafez and Madonna's conversion to Kabbalah.
