🕳 DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE : COSTUME LAB 🕳
Want to slip into the early, dreamy phase of costume design for Wunderland Chronarium?
On 27 November, 16:30-18:30, we’re opening the doors to our workspace for a Down the Rabbit Hole session, where we dive into costume concepts.
In this session, we’ll explore how to dress a universe. You’ll get to play with materials, create collages, and make small sketches as early costume ideas.
No previous experience with costume design is needed - just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
🔸 Pay-what-you-can event. All basic materials are provided by Wunderland. If you have a material you love - a piece of fabric, plastic, metal, yarn, something strange and inspiring - feel free to bring it along.🔸
What is Down the Rabbit Hole?
It’s our open, ever-evolving event series where we share different parts of the process behind Wunderland Chronarium - from workshops to behind-the-scenes insights, tech experiments, artist talks and more. It’s your chance to dive deeper into the Wunderland universe. 🌿
This Costume Lab will be guided by costume designer and scenographer Caroline Bang Hedegaard, whose practice spans theatre, dance, performance and participatory art installations. She often works with recycled textiles - stitching them together in new ways. Sustainable thinking is at the core of her artistic practice, in themes, working methods and choice of materials.
We can’t wait to go down the rabbit hole with you. 🕳️
