Two PhD researchers from the DARK Cosmology Centre at the Niels Bohr Institute — Aman Nadimpalli Raju and Clara Ferreira Cores — invite you to explore one of the most elusive dimensions of our Universe: 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
From the thermodynamic exchanges that shape galaxies to the fleeting moments that define our lives, we’ll dive into how time unfolds across scales — cosmic, human, and imaginative. Together, we’ll explore how this metric influences our measurements in outer space, the definition of physical properties and structures, while questioning what we mean by 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵, 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, and how our perception of time influences the way we observe, measure, and even create the world.
Expect an evening of curiosity and cosmic wonder, accompanied by live music from 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐠-𝐍𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐧, and a twist on our classic quiz inspired by research into how we relate to time itself.
