- **Event Description**: It’s official! The Settimana Musicale del Trecento 2026 will take place in the familiar setting of Arezzo, from 7 July through 12 July 2026. This year features a very special program, with music from the medieval court of King Janos of Cyprus, associated with the French House of Lusignan and thus under very strong French influence.

A famous music manuscript has survived from Cyprus, I-Tn MS J.II.9 (“Cypriot-French”); it contains more than 200 works, largely in the Ars Subtilior style. What is remarkable (and frustrating) is that all the works are anonymous and that none of them appears in any other manuscript outside Cyprus. Adventurous and often exquisitely beautiful music!

This year's course will take place in the prestigious Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi, across from the Pieve di Santa Maria:  https://www.fondazioneivanbruschi.it/
