🪵 Connecting Through Art: Woodworking
Hosted by the American Parkinson Disease Association Minnesota Chapter
Join us for Connecting Through Art: Woodworking — a creative arts program that offers people with Parkinson’s disease the space and ability to express feelings, emotions, and daily experiences through hands-on artistic activities.
This special woodworking session will be facilitated by past APDA Minnesota Board President, Dave Ihle, who is passionate about woodworking and eager to share his love for the craft. No power tools are needed — just creativity, connection, and an open mind!
About the Program:
Connecting Through Art is designed to encourage self-expression and connection. Through creative activities like drawing, painting, and woodworking, participants can explore art in a supportive environment while improving mood, focus, and motor skills. Art-based programs have been shown to help people with Parkinson’s enhance dexterity, relieve stress, and foster a sense of community.
