- **Event Description**: The Department of Music and Performing Arts is excited to present the 2026 Concerto-Aria Competition Recital. This annual competition offers student musicians the chance to compete for the opportunity to perform with the Festival Orchestra at the Classics in the Great Hall concert on May 8th, 2026. Participants will perform before a panel of professional judges and have the opportunity to showcase their skills through solo performances of concertos or arias, demonstrating not only their technical proficiency but also their artistic interpretation and stage presence. In addition to the honor of performing with the orchestra, first- and second-place winners will receive cash prizes, recognizing their outstanding musical achievement and dedication.

Join us for an evening of musical excellence and support our talented students!

Eligibility: Any Bethel University student currently enrolled for 2025-2026 and currently studying privately with Music and Performing Arts department faculty. A student may win the First Prize award a maximum of 2 times during their college career on the same instrument.
