What is Vermicomposting?
It is using worms to make healthy compost. 

In just a few months, we will begin our Butterfly Garden at the library. We will be needing all this compost to help our native plants grow and attract butterflies! 

The library received a special grant that gave us a worm farm, books, and educational materials. We can't wait to share them with you. Youth ages 8–17 are invited to join this two‑session, hands‑on program all about vermiculture, composting, and creative upcycling! 

Participants will discover how worms help recycle food scraps, reduce waste, and build healthy soil while creating and exploring through fun, eco‑themed activities.

We are excited to team up with 4-H again and start a new project!
