To improve your cognitive control, the bulk of this session will immerse you in experiential learning where you will participate in six different listening modes which immediately informs your word choice. This tool will be placed in your toolbelt for strategic use in all upcoming conversations to expand your executive presence, credibility, and negotiating power.

Meet Your Speaker:
Based off ten years managing law firms and a second decade creating leadership development programs within large government contractors, Margot Halstead’s long-standing passion for interpersonal communication has led to being an effective facilitator with high-performing, developing, in-tact and struggling teams improving their communication to restore business effectiveness. She is also a master certified coach (MCC) specializing in the communication aspects of leadership. in order to maintain and advance profitability, companies use Margot to assess the health of their culture and invest in advancing the communication skills of their leadership and employees.

Margot has created an impressive set of communication tools to help clients ensure they have constructive conversations during every interaction. Her toolbelt includes over 182 tools with the first dozen featured in her book: Owning Your IT: Actionable tools to improve interpersonal communication.
