Jack-o-Lantern Woodcarving Class

This is a perfect beginner project for learning woodcarving. The class will begin with learning basic cuts used for carving wood. Then these techniques will be used to carve the Jack-O-Lantern. After the carving is completed, students will have the opportunity to paint the carved figure using techniques developed specifically for wood. The instructor will provide all the tools needed to complete this project (wood, carving knife, safety glove, painting supplies). Ages 14 years or older. Adults welcome.
