Come join us for our THIRD Annual Chili Cook Off!
? Taster/Voter Door Fee: $5
This small fee covers:
✔ Utensils, napkins, water
✔ Palate cleansers
✔ Access to an UNLIMITED tasting buffet of 10 homemade chilis
✔ One ballot for each of the THREE categories
❗ IMPORTANT ❗
Voters are responsible for their ballots. Lost or stolen ballots will not be replaced.
Self-serve tasting. Cooks remain anonymous until all voting is complete.
No takeout. You must be present to taste and vote.
Leftovers (if any) may be taken home only at the chef’s discretion AFTER the competition ends.
? OFFICIAL CONTESTANT RULES ?
? APPLICATION
All applicants must fill out the Google Docs entry form (link will be posted when active).
No early applications — everyone gains access at the same time.
Must be 21+ to enter.
$35 entry fee is required at the time of form submission. No payment = invalid application and your spot will NOT be held.
? CHILI REQUIREMENTS
Chili must be the original recipe of the applicant.
Applicants must use their own stoves/hot plates, pots, ingredients, and utensils to prepare.
Chili must be prepared ahead of time and transported to the venue in a crock pot. Sorry no sterno this year. They take up too much room. 
Applicants must make at least one full pot (4+ quarts).
Chili must be delivered to the venue NO LATER than 1 PM on contest day.

? WHAT THE VENUE PROVIDES
Bowls, napkins, utensils, serving spoons, condiments, and voter cards.

? ANONYMITY & FAIRNESS
Each chili vessel will be assigned a number upon arrival.
Chef names will be revealed ONLY AFTER voting ends.
In the Google form, all applicants must agree not to bribe, bait, or sway tasters.
Anyone caught doing so will be immediately eliminated. No exceptions.
⏰ SCHEDULE
Tasting begins: 3:00 PM
Voting ends / Judging: 5:00 PM
Awards presented: Approximately 6:00 PM
All applicants must be present to compete and accept awards.
