- **Event Description**: LA-based I Speak Machine are writer, performer and producer Tara Busch, and filmmaker/video
director Maf Lewis. In 2022, they released their full length album WAR, which was accompanied by
an iconic series of videos by Maf Lewis. They then toured extensively with electronic music legend
Gary Numan & grunge legends L7. Following that, they released the blazingly sinister, synth-punk
single BRING ME THE GIRL at the end of 2023, which soon became a fan favorite at shows. Live
performances in 2024 culminated with a successful west coast US tour in October, which they
kicked off supporting iconic Juliette Lewis & The Licks at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles.
The live performance itself, most accurately described as "an audio/visual 3-way collision of Nina
Hagen, Norma Desmond & Lux Interior”, is a uniquely intense feast consisting of Tara’s hyper-
visceral performance and vocal style, and Maf Lewis’ masterful, arresting visuals.

They are currently working on a new 2025 release which will feature a song with Gary Numan on
vocals, and Roy Mayorga of Ministry on drums for several tracks. I Speak Machine plan to tour
extensively in the US and possibly UK/ EU throughout the year to celebrate the new release, starting
with shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco supporting The Jesus Lizard.

Bar opens at 6pm. Music at 7:30pm with DJ Ring Entity and local support act Parking Structure. 21+
