Train Show and Sale

This is the Big Spring Train Show, Sponsored by the Train Collectors Association Western Division and the Toy Train Operating Society Southern Pacific Division.

This promises to be the biggest train show ever held at the Arcadia Community Center. The hall will be full of tables loaded with model trains and accessories of all scales, toys (Erector Sets anyone?), and railroad memorabilia and books for sale.

We’ll have train layouts running, including one for junior engineers to operate. Members will be displaying pieces from their collections focused on the Southern Pacific and Western Pacific railroads. There will be an auction where you can pick up some great bargains and our expert repairmen will be on hand to get your old train back on the track.

Is there someone in your family who should have a train set but the budget is tight? We’ll be offering complete, refurbished Lionel sets exclusively to our guests starting at the low price of only $35.00! Come early, these will go fast.

Our snack bar will be offering free coffee and donuts and lunch will be available. Best of all, admission and parking are FREE!

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
