Luciano Capparelli and Rocío de los Santos are internationally recognized Argentine tango dancers, choreographers, and instructors known for combining powerful athleticism with refined musicality and elegance. They have performed together for many years on some of the world’s most prestigious tango stages and at major festivals across North America, Europe, Asia, and South America. 

Luciano Capparelli
Luciano Capparelli is an Argentine tango professional whose career has centered on stage performance, choreography, and teaching. He gained international recognition as one of the featured couples in the acclaimed production Tango Fire, touring extensively throughout the United States and around the world. Critics have praised his dynamic partnering, precision, and expressive stage presence. 

Rocío de los Santos
Rocío de los Santos began studying classical ballet at the age of eight before expanding into contemporary dance, jazz, theater, folklore, and body expression. Inspired by her family’s tango tradition, she transitioned into Argentine tango and quickly became an award-winning competitor.
Her professional career has included performances at renowned Buenos Aires tango venues such as El Querandí, Piazzolla Tango, Café Tortoni, and Casablanca. She has toured internationally with productions including Tango Emoción, Tango Fire, and Tanguera, where she performed the lead role. She has also directed the company Corazón de Tango and starred in Tango Buenos Aires. 

As a partnership
Together, Capparelli and de los Santos have become highly respected teachers and performers in the international tango community. Their dancing is often described as balancing stage technique with the intimacy and emotion of traditional Argentine tango. A New York Times review of Tango Fire praised them as the show’s most “beautifully lavish” couple, highlighting their combination of power and softness. 

They continue to teach workshops, perform at tango festivals, and remain active competitors, and recently winning the 2025 Buenos Aires City Tango Vals Championship.
