Karaoke Champions

KARAOKE CHAMPIONS is a high-energy karaoke competition that takes place at Astronaut City, every Sunday and Tuesday.

About 20 karaoke singers perform their favorite song, using whatever it takes to win audience votes--costumes, props, dancers, or just incredible vocals. It's an amazing show to either participate or watch.

Audience members can vote for their favorite, and at the end of the night, the Karaoke Champion is crowned!

How it works:

The day of the competition, doors open at 7p where you'll put your name and what song you want. Walk-in performers are welcome if there are slots, but online signups are guaranteed. The performing lineup is determined by the sign up sheet, so get there early.

The first sign-up is complimentary, but if there is space and the singer wants to perform again, they pay a $5 entry fee. All songs must be unique. However, if someone HAS to do a song that was already chosen, the repeat singer can pay a $10 penalty and better bring it! :P

After the competition, there is open karaoke from 10p-midnight, where singers can drink from Astronaut City's big selection of beer, wine, soju, and nonalcoholic options.

Astronaut City uses the Karafun karaoke system which has thousands of songs in English, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, and more.

This event is 21+ only. Come sing, vote, drink, and celebrate karaoke at its most joyful. There is a two item minimum for all guests.

WHAT IS ASTRONAUT CITY

Astronaut City is a karaoke bar and comedy club created in 2025 by comedian Teresa Lo. Karaoke Champions features numerous comedians who are also karaoke aficiados, who combine their comedic and performing skills to create a theatrical experience in Astronaut City's intimate space.
