# Event Details - **Event Name**: Fastback Shootout - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 29 Aug, 2020 at 07:00 am – Sat, 29 Aug, 2020 at 10:00 am - **Event Description**: Hello Coach: We would like to invite you to join us for the 2019 Fastback Invitational on Saturday, August 31, at Arcadia County Park for a flat, fast, grass, two-mile distance that will have you on your way home by 10:30 AM. We were hoping to be back at Mt SAC this year for the Fastback Inv; however, with stadium construction going so well and moving along so quickly, Mt Sac has decided to speed up the construction of the parking structure on the west side of the stadium and that means resurfacing the airstrip—they are planning to do that in August, so we will not be able to host the Fastback at Mt. SAC this year. Team Limit & Online Registration: One of the reasons this meet is completed so quickly and more than half of the kids medal is because we keep the meet small. Only 35 teams will be accepted. You can register now and reserve your spot at FinishedResults.com . As soon as we have 35 schools registered, we will cut off registration, so you should reserve your spot today! Entry Fee: $200 for only boys or only girls / $350 for both boys and girls / Individuals $20. Payment: You must pay your entry fee before you will be given your packet and chips on the day of the meet. Make checks payable to: Arroyo High School Awards: The top 60 runners in each division will receive custom Fastback Inv. medals. This is usually at least 50% of the field and in some grade levels it will be 70% to 80% of the field. T-shirts are available in many styles. Course: Everyone will be running two miles. It is basically a one-mile loop—done twice. It is completely flat, all grass, and 90% of the course is visible from the start/finish line area. A course map is included in the email attachment. Parking: Parking is free for everyone: team busses, vans, cars, spectators in the parking lot on the East side of the park. (No busses may park in the West side parking lot).
