I call these my golden years, and pickleball has helped make them truly golden.
To me, pickleball is about much more than hitting a plastic ball over a net. It can open a fun and exciting new chapter in your life—one filled with exercise, laughter, new friendships and something enjoyable to look forward to.
My teaching philosophy is simple: learn the fundamentals, play safely, improve at your own pace and—most importantly—have fun.
If you want an instructor who promises to make you the number-one player in the world, I may not be your guy. I’m still working on becoming number one at my own local court!
But if you want to learn the basics in a patient, positive and welcoming environment, I would be honored to help you get started.
? FREE BEGINNER PICKLEBALL CLINIC
Every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
Windy Shores in Aransas Pass
Minimum of 4 participants
Maximum of 8 participants
All necessary equipment is provided
Advance registration is required
? PRIVATE GROUP LESSONS—$25 PER PERSON
If Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. does not work for you—or if you would rather learn alongside your own friends—create a private group of four people, and I will arrange a session with you at Windy Shores.
Four-player minimum
$25 per person
Scheduled at a mutually convenient time
Approximately one hour of beginner instruction
Followed by supervised play
Up to two hours of total court time
We will cover the basic rules, serving, scoring, court position, safety and the fundamental shots you need to begin playing. Afterward, we will put those lessons into action by playing together.
My goal is not simply to teach you how to play pickleball. It is to help you discover a healthier, happier and more active lifestyle—and perhaps a whole new circle of friends.
