PGRSTX has been invited to participate in a special ceremony for SGT Tyler Sloan as he is awarded a new specially adapted home from Homes for Our Troops (HFOT).

SGT Sloan was on his first combat deployment in Mosul, Iraq when he was shot in the lower abdomen by a sniper. He credits the quick response of his team with saving his life. In a coma for six days, Tyler suffered nerve damage in his left arm, back and knee complications, and internal injuries. After three years of limb salvage, his right leg was amputated. Tyler has undergone over 43 surgeries in the past 17 years.
