- **Event Description**: Still in a semi-daze from Jimmy Robinson's last performance at the Lighthouse, we hope to be fully recovered and ready for a brand new daze when he returns on March 29. Watching this man play guitar is like watching someone perform magic tricks--but with the soulful spirituality of a master musician. I sent a track from Jimmy's great solo CD "Three" to a friend, and he told me that the recording wasn't impressive because of all the over dubs and the obvious use of a 12 string guitar. I told him there were no overdubs, and just a plain old six string. He called me a liar and so i sent him a video and now he's eating crow and is a true believer. Jimmy is one of the finest and most inventive guitarists on the planet. This is no exaggeration. It's hard to reconcile in your mind the sounds you're hearing with the hands that are making that incredible sound happen. Jimmy's band, Woodenhead, recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Last time he played here it was standing room only, so please arrive early. 

Jimmy will play a set at 6, followed by open mic at 7. Each participant will get up to 15 minutes of undiluted fame.

All ages/no cover.
