- **Event Description**: The Lighthouse is honored to welcome back to the purple sparkle floor Donnie Picou -- front man of legendary local punk/alternative band Bas Clas. Donnie and Bas Clas have been doing it since the 80s, and their most recent album, Fortunes Told, doesn't seem to want to leave the CD player of my car. Seriously, the songs this man writes are infective, melodic, and intelligent. I once called him the Cajun Elvis Costello and he accepted the compliment. We're very fortunate that Donnie is taking a break from recording the latest Bas Clas album to join us for open mic. Here's your chance to see a local legend in a rare, intimate setting. 

Donnie will play a set at 6, followed by open mic at 7. Each participant will get up to 15 minutes of undiluted fame.

All ages/no cover.
