- **Event Description**: We're very excited to welcome back to the purple sparkle floor, one of our favorites, Kevin Comarda. Kevin is a veteran of the scene, having begun his career in the legendary West Bank alt rock band Community in the late 90s/early 2000s, and currently leading his own band, The Self-Help Tapes. On record, his new band's sound is deeply ethereal in the sparkling dreampop sense, while his acoustic performances extract those same songs from the gloriously studio-born textures to let the nuanced meaning of words and melody rise to the top . Kevin's songs are a revelation--you don't want to miss this performance. 

Kevin will play a set at 6, followed by open mic at 7. Each participant will get up to 15 minutes of undiluted fame.
