Get ready for a different kind of meet and greet! Starting next Tuesday and continuing on for the whole campaign, I'm introducing Talkies Tuesdays, a meet-the-candidate series of events that build on the popular American culture phenomenon of Taco Tuesdays! This series will travel around District 8, featuring a different county and new Mexican restaurant each week! The goal is to promote immigrant and locally owned businesses, immigrant culture as American culture, meet all of you to share thoughts, ideas, and real life concerns about our government, while sampling some incredible tacos and having fun! Government doesn't have to be boring! Some imagination, some great food, and some new friends sounds like a win to me!

I'm kicking this series off with a bang at The Tipsy Taco in Appleton! If you've never been there, get ready to be blown away!
