Taize Candlelit Prayer Service

Join us for a contemplative Taize prayer service on Monday, August 11 at 7:30pm. Taize services incorporate periods of silence with meditative Scripture readings, prayers, and repetition of simple musical chants . This meditative service is perfect for enjoying the beauty of St. Joe’s and our stained glass at sunset. It can also be helpful for handling grief or stress that you are struggling with. There will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one. As this service happens at sunset, it does get dark in church so please discern for yourself if moving around in a dark environment is safe for you.
