Christopher Porterfield is a Milwaukee-based songwriter and frontman of the folk-rock band Field Report. Known for his reflective lyricism and evocative storytelling, Porterfield recently served as Artist in Residence with LOTUS Legal Clinic’s Rise & Thrive program, where he adapted writings from survivors of human trafficking and sexual violence into Field Report’s 2024 EP Trust In Movements Made. The project, released September 6, highlights Porterfield’s gift for empathy-driven songwriting and his commitment to amplifying voices beyond his own.
