Pokemon TCG: Elite Trainer Box Brawl! @ The Game Capital

Join us for the return of the Elite Trainer Box Brawl at the Game Capital!

This event will function similar to a prerelease - you will construct a deck of 40 cards, and you will play games with only 4 prize cards, however it will be AFTER the release date for Black Bolt & White Flare, and you will get an Elite Trainer Box rather than a Build & Battle Kit!

For this event, you will receive an Elite Trainer Box of either Black Bolt or White Flare (selected randomly). Once the event starts, you will have 30 minutes to open your Elite Trainer Box and construct a 40-card deck using ONLY the cards opened from your Elite Trainer Box! Keep in mind that the 40-card limit INCLUDES basic energy, so keep that in mind when building your deck!

Once deck construction is complete, players will then play in 3 Swiss rounds (regardless of the # of participants) for some fun TCG Limited action! After round 1 is complete, players will receive 1 additional booster pack (that matches their ETB) and may make any edits to their decks that they would like before the start of round 2. After round 2, players will receive 1 additional booster pack (matching their ETB) to make edits before round 3.

After round 3, all participating players that finish the 3 rounds will receive a prize series pack! There will NOT be additional prizing for top finishers as the idea for this event is to make it a fun, welcoming, and casual event for players of all skill levels to enter!
