Bursting with energy and spirit, this program opens with Ron Nelson’s effervescent "Savannah River Holiday" before gliding into the shimmering waters of John Zdechlik’s "Lake Washington Suite." One of Jodie Blackshaw’s latest artistic contributions to wind rep, "Ecology of the Soul," invites deep reflection with its rich textures and meditative beauty, while Katahj Copley’s electrifying "Infinity," conducted by Paul Kile, sweeps the audience into a realm of boundless momentum. We'll finish with "Burn Brightly," a work penned by our principal conductor Timothy Mahr. The concert blazes with passion and inspiration—an unforgettable celebration of music’s power to uplift, challenge, and move the soul.
