The Rosemount Community Band, led by Dr. Cassie Bechard, will open the concert with the world premiere of Where Silence Echoes, a moving tribute to their founding director John Zschunke. Their set also includes music by John Williams, David Holsinger, and Pierre Leemans.

After intermission, the Minnesota Symphonic Winds take the stage under Dr. Timothy Mahr and Paul Kile. Enjoy works by Ron Nelson, John Zdechlik, Katahj Copley, and the American premiere of Ecology of the Soul by Jodie Blackshaw — a breathtaking piece inspired by the sounds of Australian birds. ?️

The concert concludes with Dr. Mahr’s uplifting new work, BurnBrightly. ?
