- **Event Name**: Therapists in Flow
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 09 Oct, 2026 at 09:00 am – Fri, 09 Oct, 2026 at 12:00 pm (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: Therapists in the Flow: Connection, Community & Restoration on the Wekiva River

Join fellow Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida (MHCCF) on October 9 for a float on the beautiful Wekiva River.

Therapists spend so much time creating safety and connection for others. This experience offers you the opportunity to receive some of that care yourself.

Surrounded by nature and supported by a community of colleagues who understand the demands of this work, you’ll be invited to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and give your nervous system space to recalibrate.

During our time on the river, you’ll experience:

Meaningful connection and networking with other mental health professionals.

Guided opportunities for reflection and personal insight.

Time to unwind, breathe, and reconnect with nature.

Space to release what has been weighing on you and return feeling renewed.

This journey will be lead by:
Sandra Moenssens, LMHC, LMFT

(All participants are strongly encouraged to wear sun shirts or T-shirts and/or water shorts for positive body image supported purposes.)

This is more than a networking event. It is an opportunity to pause, restore yourself, and remember that therapists need connection and community, too.

"Because sometimes the wisdom we’re looking for becomes easier to hear when we allow ourselves to be carried by the current."
