Grieving Through the Holidays - Held at Sky Pond in Apex, NC

As the holidays approach, grief can feel closer to the surface — stirred by memories, changes and the quiet pressure to “be okay.” This workshop offers a calm, supportive space to pause before the season begins — a chance to learn, reflect and restore in the company of others who understand the complexity of loss.

Together, we’ll explore why grief often feels different this time of year, how it shows up in both body and mind and ways to care for ourselves through the emotional landscape of the holidays so that. You’ll be guided through moments of reflection, we will explore a healing dialectical grief writing exercise, move through simple somatic practices and a meaningful release ritual — all designed to help you move into the coming weeks with more steadiness and self-compassion.

A lovely charcuterie and warm seasonal snacks will be served as we gather in the cozy Sky Pond cabin surrounded by nature and community.
