Join The Retreat Ladies, The Running University, and Living Metta for a special collaborative event created for women who are ready to slow down, breathe more deeply, and reconnect with what truly matters. This mindful experience invites you to invest in your self-care, move with intention, appreciate the natural beauty of the Superstition Mountains, and enjoy a supportive community of like-minded women.
As we gently hike and practice together, you’ll discover many “treasures”—moments that remind you to choose ease over effort, presence over hurry, and the understanding that life is a journey, not a destination.
Some of these treasures might include:
New friendships and heartfelt conversations
A fresh perspective on your life’s path
A renewed appreciation for how your body moves when given space and kindness
The healing gifts of slowing down and being mindfully present
Breathtaking scenery and memorable photos
Simple mindfulness practices you can weave into everyday life
And SO MUCH MORE!

Event Details:
Our morning begins at the Ramada in the Cholla Day Use Area, where we’ll receive mindful instruction on Chi Walking/Hiking from Master Instructor Lisa Pozzoni of TRU Tribe and The Running University. ChiWalking blends the wisdom of Tai Chi with healthy body mechanics, helping you move with less strain, less effort, and more awareness. Lisa will guide you into proper posture, teach you how to move from your center, and show you how to reduce impact on joints by embracing key mind/body principles.
We’ll then head out for a mindful, ease-filled hike along the gorgeous Treasure Loop Trail (moderate difficulty):

Midway through our journey, Nicole Reed of Living Metta will lead a grounding QiGong practice—inviting you to slow down even more, breathe with the landscape, and experience the calming blend of nature, movement, and meditation.
After completing the loop, we’ll return to the Ramada where Dawn Hopkins of Inspiritus Yoga will guide you through a Gentle Standing Yoga Flow to stretch, release tension, and move energy through the body with intention and softness. We’ll close with nourishing snacks and your choice of a mimosa or mockmosa while Dawn leads a 5-senses Mindful Eating Meditation to deepen presence and appreciation.
Following our event, we invite you to linger, relax, and enjoy unhurried girlfriend time with the amazing women who join us.
Give yourself the gift of slowing down, reconnecting,
and honoring your journey.
